Title Sequence Backgrounds

Hey everybody! It’s Maisie! Obviously, lol.

I’ve been working really hard on the title sequence backgrounds and they are TAKING FOREVER but they are also SO GOOD.

The first one is the (nearly) finished amphitheater where Pink Poison is having a hilariously flawed performance. In the background you can see the ARA Timekeeper (what could that be I wonder?)! Some disapproving gnomes are in the foreground, as you do. My favorite part of this whole scene is Chloe Cow’s pose. Gosh I wish I could jam that confidently!

This next one is still very much in progress, but it’s the girls performing in front of their favorite café in yet another misadventure.

I've colored in the majority of the scene, but if you look closely you can see the outlines of some fire-breathing chickens, the body of Jack the Jack-o-Lantern man, and even a mysterious turtle! I love Chloe Cow's pose here, too. My partner can tell you much I've been posing in the mirror for reference to get it just right! Stacey Bunny is obviously the standout here, though, even if I do love Mocha being friends with Mr. Dragon Chicken.

There are so many more of these to churn through, and we talked about it on the podcast (starting to come out this Friday!), but I’m simultaneously in LOVE with these and also sad that I’m not already doing animation frames. This has to be really really good because it’s the title sequence, and I want that to be so good. But sometimes things just go slowly, you know?
